KI NO BI KYOTO DRY GIN WITH GOLD LEAF

Ki No Bi (the beauty of seasons) is inspired by tradition and is distilled, blended and bottled in Kyoto. Ki No Bi Dry Gin is created with Japanese botanicals such as yuzu, Akamatsu wood chips (Japanese red pine), bamboo, gyokuro tea and green sansho berries (Japanese peppercorn). It is bottled at 45,7% abv and it uses a rice spirit base and pure water from the sake-brewing district of Fushimi. Mastering not only the distillation but also the art of blending, they separate the botanicals in the gin into 6 elements: Base, citrus, tea, herbal, spice and floral & fruity, and distill each category individually. Then they blending in perfect harmony. Lastly there is a tradition of adding gold leaf to Japanese sake at times of celebration, such as New Year, weddings and festivals. It elevates the product and adds an extra layer of occasion and luxury.
